Game format

15 8-ball overs

Three overs max per bowler

batsmen retire at 40 but can return

Out roofed if the ball hits the ceiling  - the windows are not out

Run outs either end

No LBWs, no leg byes

You can be caught off side walls but not back wall – no runs scored

Tournament format

There will be the following teams:

ArcelorMittal

Allsorts + ArcelorMittal

Metz

Star

Swifty

Two points for a win, one for a tie, zero for a loss - plus net run rate

Change: as there are now five teams in the league we will change the format. The top team will go directly to the final. 2nd and 3rd will play a semi 

Run scoring:

Due to the small hall, you only run half-way for each run

Bonus runs

Bonus runs are scored when at least one physical run is scored when the first contact with the wall is as follows:

behind the keeper: 0 bonus runs

side wall halfway down the pitch: 1 run

side wall between halfway and the bowlers end: 2 runs

off side wall onto back wall: 3 runs

4s + 6s

back wall along the ground: 6 runs

back wall on the full: 4 runs

A physical run does not need to be scored but you can run as well if you like

Other

One bonus run for all overthrows that hit a wall except against the back wall

One bonus bye if the ball hits the back wall

Wides + no balls

Wide – down leg side and within the line marked on the pitch

No-Ball shall be called if the ball pitches short of the centre line

Extra ball and one run for wides and no balls

After the game

Put all mats and kit away in the side “garages” if you are the last team of the day
